With SEAMEO VOCTECH’s diverse and expanding topics in its regular training programmes, there is a need to respond to some requests by interested external participants to join in the scheduled courses. These enthusiastic educators and other TVET practitioners come either from Brunei Darussalam in the region or beyond. In this juncture, the Centre has formulated the following guidelines:
- The total number of participants in the course may not exceed 30 people.
- Participants from the region must have a valid Passport and approved length of stay in Brunei Darussalam that coincides with the duration of at least two weeks. Other participants must secure their proper visa from their respective countries of origin, and other requirements.
- Local participants representing the Ministry of Education in Brunei Darussalam, must secure an official approval of the Head of his/her respective institution, prior to the course.
- Registration to the course must be at least one months before the course starts.
- All participants are required to comply with requirements of attendance, participation and action plan and other issues, etc. to qualify them for the Certificate of Completion at the end of the course.
- Any participant who does not complete the course for a valid reason will only receive a Certificate of Attendance, with the dates of attendance indicated on the document.
- All participants of regular/external/non-scholarship recipients are provided with the same level of facilities and share similar responsibilities.
This training programme is offered with three funding options: Full Scholarship, Subsidised and Fee-Paying. SEAMEO VOCTECH will offer one (1) Full Scholarship to each member country. Should they member country send two participants, then the second participant will be availed a subsidy and if there are more than 2 participants then the third and subsequent participants will be charged the full training fee.
